Fighteraces are commissioned to complete this 30% scale Mitsubishi Ki-51 ‘Sonia’. Originally started 10-12 years ago by the owner, the project stalled & has been in storage ever since. Supplied to Fighteraces as a collection of parts, we have a basic forward fuselage & wing centre section structure, a basic tail plane with elevators & the start of a fin & rudder. The model is built using both traditional built up timber structures as well as some foam/veneered parts. At 30% scale, the model will span 143″ (3.63m), with a length of 109″ (2.77m). Power will be supplied by a Valach VM-140 flat twin 4-stroke engine with Spectrum radio for guidance. Fighteraces will be completing the model to ‘Turn Key’ standard.
