Custom Builds

Built from an early pre-production Airworld kit, the Lighting has been heavily modified from standard with the following features. Twin turbine (2 x JetsMunt 166) with two 4.5Ltr custom Kevlar fuel tanks. To aid transportation & storage, the tailfin, all flying tail surfaces, ventral fins, inlet ducting & missiles have all be made removable. The exterior of the model has been completely detailed with thousands of flush rivets & screw head fastenings. A full depth cockpit interior has been built entirely from scratch, along with nose & refuelling probes (all by hand, no 3D printing was used). The standard Airworld retracts have also been converted to electric by BK Modell Technik.
