Fighteraces built this 122″ span, 1/6 scale Jerry Bates Martin Maryland for an overseas client. Built & delivered ready to fly, the model is of traditional built up construction based around a laser cut short kit from Belair Laser cut kits in the UK. Power comes from a pair of Zenoah 38cc petrol engines, with guidance from Futaba/Powerbox radio & retracts from Sierra Giant Scale. This all timber model is finished in glass cloth & epoxy with a fully detailed exterior under a suitably weathered RAF desert scheme. Finished & ready to fly, the model weighed 59lb.
